We're glad you're here! We will be posting new courses and resources throughout the year. Our current offerings are listed below. You will notice on this page that several resources are availabe for your use without being registered in a class. We are beginning to develop the following areas of this Moodle: Resources, Wikis and the Ins & Outs of Moodle. Please feel free to peruse these sections. • Transforming Students into Learners 08-09 Learning Community

  This cross-district learning community is open to those who have participated in the Transforming Students into Learners four-day institute. We meet monthly to share ideas, strategies and tools. Meeting locations change monthly as we travel to each member’s classroom to see how tools are used within their classrooms and schools. Supporting each other in the change process is important.

  This "course" also allows a participant to earn UCD graduate credit.

• The Wisdom of Mentoring: Douglas County

  

  The Wisdom of Mentoring focuses on the skills, tools and protocols of mentoring, as well as knowledge of new teachers and their needs.

• Between the Lines Book Study, October 2009

  

  This month we'll be reading Robyn Jackson's book, Never Work Harder than your Students & Other Principles of Great Teaching. Join Robyn and colleagues as we deepen our knowledge and understandings by reading, writing and discussing. This book study is largely asynchronous with a chat component included to match participants' timeframes.
